Week 2 Assignment. Brief: Shallow depth of field.
I took a picture of these foam pigs which my flatmate seems to have loads of.
I used a wide aperture to create a shallow depth of field and arranged the pigs close together so that there was a good gradient of focus.
I was originally taking shots under normal household lighting but the colours were coming out with a yellow tinge so I got a bright led table lamp and used that as a lighting source which corrected the colours, especially the whites. I then had to use a slightly faster shutter speed so as not to over-expose the picture.
